Co-Founders
Brianna Coccia & Melissa Marie

Co-founder Brianna Coccia (she/her) started her career as an Audio Engineer specializing in live sound for shows, concerts, weddings, and theatre. Throughout the years she has expanded her repertoire of skills to include those of Production Management and Event Coordination.

Brianna’s goal is to bring together people from all different parts of the community through various art forms, music, and events. One of her favorite passion projects is working as a field reporter and staff writer for online music publication, LongIslandSound.Love. In her free time, she enjoys shredding the gnarr on her skateboard, playing her original music, working on community projects, and taking care of her extensive plant collection.

A jane-of-all-trades, Co-founder Melissa Marie (she/her), of Melissa Marie Imagery is no stranger to getting things done and making shit happen. As a spoken word poetess and artist Melissa has coordinated many events in support of the beautiful arts scene on Long Island. During COVID she found herself missing the connection with her community and began doing weekly check ins, daily inspirational creative prompts, running virtual writing workshops and hosting open-mics over ZOOM to keep her artists friends and family connected.

From there she began to work with dozens of local organizations to host community outreach events, round tables, and newscasts, both virtually, and as the world opened back up again, in person. Melissa has always worked to create safe spaces for artists to come together, and has a deep seated belief that all arts are equal. She now works with various production companies, musicians, visual artists, venues and organizations to curate and produce live broadcasts, ticketed events, and more- in addition to offering her graphic design and marketing services to ensure every event is cohesive, and reaches the biggest audience possible.

When she isn't managing humans (or herding cats) you'll find her behind the mic performing spoken word, curating cozy spaces at local venues, and barefoot in places she shouldn't be- likely while lounging on floors and comfy couches
